カフェオレ斑 (Cafe au lait macule) は、平坦な色素沈着過剰の母斑です。

カフェオレ斑は健康な人にも見られますが、神経線維腫症 1 型などの症候群と関連していることがあります。斑点の数は、神経線維腫症の診断において臨床的に重要です。思春期前の小児では直径5 mm以上、思春期以降では直径15 mm以上の斑点が6個以上あることが、神経線維腫症の主要な診断基準のひとつです。

カフェオレ斑は通常、出生時に存在し、時間とともにサイズが拡大したり、数が増えたりします。レーザー治療を行ってもシミが完全に除去されないことが多く、治療後に再発する可能性があります。
